    Car Won’t Crank

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Recently I was driving my 2011 A5 and suddenly the car turned off while accelerating. Didn’t hear anything break in the engine or loud sounds. I attempted to turn on the car and no response. I have power in the car just won’t crank.

Anyone has any ideas where I can start to trouble shoot ? I seen other forums talk about checking the 645 relay in the engine compartment. Please help!!!

Best place to start would be to read the fault codes. At this point without them it would be a complete guessing game. Vagcom is the best but there are others. Even a Generic scanner would be better than nothing.
