I have a 2014 S5 mods in my sig. For close to a year I've been hearing a metallic, creaking sound when I decelerate from 40-20. It happens when I brake or just take my foot off the accelerator. I thought it was something in the suspension but since I have changed all control arms, sway bars, end links and coil overs and I still hear this weird creaking sound when I slow down. The shop that has been doing all my work says its something in the transmission when the car is dropping from 3rd to 2nd gear and they're suggesting that I replace the transmission?
I drive it in manual and I still hear the same sound when I'm slowing down in 5th or 4th gear.
I'm putting out about 485 hp and I was going to port the blower and upgrade the throttle body next but if the increase power is already causing issues why bother?
Please advise any input would be appreciated.
