    Water pump housing

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Does anyone have a link to replacing the housing ? The dealer won’t replace the water pump even tho it’s a known issue . They are saying the housing is bad causing the temp to rise .

I’m going to replace the housing first and take it back for the pump if it doesn’t fix the issue

You have to be careful with the word selection. For B9 2.0T, there's now the "water pump", which has leaking issues. This is just the belt driven impeller and the end plate it's mounted into. And then there's the thermostat housing, which has electrical failure issues.
