    My Audi Drift Missile

First I want to start off with me introducing myself, my name is Semir from NY and about a year ago i traded my e46 330ci for a 2004 audi a4 quattro. My first car was a Mercedes e320, absolute tank of a car but i got bored and sold it. got myself a e38 740il and absolutely fell in love with BMW. Sadly, i blew it up and got myself a e36 328i, it was the love of my life. I drove it like no tomorrow til i got a offer i couldnt resist. a $2000 car sold for quadruple its rate, covid prices were nuts, i couldnt say no. I then found the e46 330ci and i hated it, the chassis just wasnt it, the power felt weird, so i put it up for sale. I got an offer for a bagged 6 speed audi a4 quattro. I didnt know what i was getting myself into but guess what, i took it! Car was a stock audi a4, ko3. came with a k04, injectors and a tune. I installed it all and it was good while it lasted... I got tired of the power so i decided to go ahead and buy another turbo and a top mount. GT3071. got it tuned and it was fun but i was on a MBC... i lose interest quick sometimes and running the car at 2bar on stock pistons got boring.... So guess what i did next? yep that right, i upped the boost. I began running it at around 33psi and can we guess what happened next?? no i didnt bend a rod, the torque came in gradually but i did lift the head! So now im bored again, and i took the block out and now im building it, except now im making it a drifty boi.

    So with that being said

Welcome to my AUDI a4 Journey.

Blah, Blah, Blah! So easy, anyone can do it from their armchairs. Prove it.
It's mind over matter. But if you don't have a mind, it really doesn't matter.

I will say through experience with a rwd converted b6 with a welded rear diff, unless you have an aggressive cutch you have to be decently high up in the power band before it'll bring the rear end out on power. My setup is just a GT28 so a pretty early spool all things considered. I will say the welded diff makes oversteer very predictable but with how heavy the car is, its a dog to daily as you'd expect.

That is the eventual goal but wanted to try this out first. Planning on tracking the car more now so a LSD is definitely the way to go for predictable power transfer through the corners.

completely forgot i had made this. lol. but how do i post pics? lmfaooooo haven’t made much progress cause works been nuts. White Bay, Wire goes under the battery, out a hole, over the trans. so you won’t see it. ABS was originally going to come out but it staying in it original place until i stop being a b***h and do a Prop Valve.

waiting on wiseco boostline rods, Stock bore wiseco Pistons, already got my ferrea springs, waiting on ferrea valves. need to order a flywheel and clutch. Ordered a new head, went with a large port head so that should be nice. Currently looking for a new turbo manifold, looking for a full race or JDL.

also decided welding the haldex would be dumb, so i’m going to just build the car up for power and driving around. looking for around 600ish HP, maybe more. who knows.

looking to sell my garrett gt3071r, possibly try out precision or holset. leaning more towards holset cause quicker spool.

basic specs of what i’m building tho

    Wiseco Boostline Rods
Wiseco Pistons, 9.25:1 CR stock stroke
    ARP main cap studs
    OEM main caps
    Calico Main Bearings
    Mahle Race Rod Bearings
    IE race cam intake/exhaust
    Ferrea Springs and retainer clips
    lifter -? not sure yet
    OE Oil Pump
    IE Billet sprocket
    Fluidampr Harmonic balancer
    034 rear main seal
Ringer Racing flywheel/Clutch combo(not sure which yet)
    ARP Head Studs

Looking to convert to a ball coolant reservoir, and run a b5 coolant pipe cause i’m deleted the cooling line for turbo. looking for a turbo without coolant ram through it

and also looking to remove the cooling line to the oil cooler and run a 16 row oil cooling radiator instead
