    Allroad intermittent coolant leak

I have a ‘02 Allroad 2.7T and I have a coolant leak that only seems to leak when idling for 10-15 minutes and seems to come on with the fans kicking on as well. I’m wondering if this leak is being caused by the auxiliary water pump kicking on as that’s the only thing that is really making sense as to why my coolant leak is intermittent. Also the leak is dripping down the front/kinda drivers side of the engine. Does this sound right to anyone else? Does the auxiliary water pump block flow when not in use?

Aux coolant pump is on the passenger side by the lower rad hose. The after run pump (notorious for leaking) is under the intake manifold. Could be your oil cooler--that is up front. Can you pop her up on ramps, remove the belly pans (if still there), and get a better look?

Pictures from above and below will probably help a lot.
