    JDL BT manifold feedback

Ok, so i came across, and picked up a BT setup a few days ago. JDL top mount manifold, PTE 6266(too big), and precision 46mm liquid cooled WG. Now the turbo is way bigger than I would eanna use, but I love the JDL top mount manifold. Would love to run a small, full frame turbo. Maybe a gt28 or 2667, somethin smaller like that. Looks, sound, and the nice power bump.

My main question is, anyone running or know anyone running this manifold? Seems solid, and nice welds, but know cracking can be an issue with tubular manifolds. Will it hold up to daily driving? Pretty new to the whole BT thing, so looking for any experience. Some pics of said stuff I picked up. Should i just try to trade/sell it, for something like and ATP setup, or i kinda like the JHM td05 setup. Just throwing some ideas around for something to possibly do next year, after rebuilding/forging the engine, and getting some solid miles on it.

The pipework is kinda poor, but I could use it to have something better made up. Using it as a pattern, cuz it fit. Also, would prob have the WG dump go back onto the DP. Any reason not to do that?
I have a b7, but the manifold is for b7/b8, so thought id ask here too.

    Thanx for any help/info0521232206_HDR.jpg0521232206a_HDR.jpg0521232216a.jpg0521232203_HDR.jpg0521232202_HDR.jpg

Why?? Thats a bottom mount setup, that requires custom engine mount brackets. Oh, and the fact id have to buy it, lol. I already have the manifold, its a top mount(which is much nicer), and only need to buy a turbo.
Any reason behind ya saying this??

sorry, didn't realize you had a b7. just get the sell the setup and get a JHM kit. Or buy the JHM manifold and piece whatever turbo you want to run.

I have the JHM B7 Manifold with a EFR6758. You should look into running a similar setup since you're so set on not running a boss kit.

Well, its not like im "so set" on not running it. Its just a already have this $1k manifold, that I got for next to nothing. I love the top mount style so much more. Im not gonna go buy another setup, when I already have this manifold/WG. I like the JHM setup, but again, id have to spend $k's to get one.
I had this basically fall into my lap, and ive always liked these JDL top mount manifolds. Theyve been discontinued for a while new, S3 very hard to come by. So I'd really like to use it.
I mean, look how nice this would look.. This pic is using the same manifold.Screenshot_20230603-113204~2.jpg
