    Hey guys

I have one weird issue sometimes it pops up error camshaft position sensor and sometimes fine .. But it only comes up when I do colds start in morning or after work, engine cranking quite long. Once or twice already was cranking very long and engine just stalled didn't even started.. and on dash error came up auto start/stop function unavailable.. But when I turn off ignition and start car again it starts normally ...

    Any help appreciated

    This is on the diesel?

From the above posted pic of the vcds scan looks to be electrical...connector...wires...corrosion...

This is the G40 "Camshaft position sensor": (intake cam position sensor near #4 intake runner)

    The magnetic adjusters are N318(exhaust) & N205(intake)

Disclaimer: This is based on ChatYTB saying the diesel and petrol engines are the same...

MikTip I think u are naive amateur mechanik only
I did not say petrol and diesel are exactly the same .. I said they are almost same and very similar

I suggest you to watch this https://youtu.be/aWeqyAxlM2M

And I knew you typically will show sensor .. As usual sales person or amateur .. You think I don't know that ? That first thing is to change sensor .. I replaced like 3 of them ..

@ReggieNoble exactly knows what is issue ..

I think u only messing with audi cars swapping engines weirdly because u bored

U even showed wrong sensor means u really don't know or have idea
    This is correct one below
