Audi has started discontinuing OE parts for the MK1 TT, so it's getting difficult to find parts. I have lots of TT quattro sport parts on the car and the parts are just not readily available. The S-line bumper skin is no longer available from Audi so you just have to do the standard BC. I also had the Phantom Blace grille from the TT quattro sport can't find it.
So I decided to go a different route, actually one I'd thought about long ago. The Rieger "single-frame conversion. So here we go. The Rieger pieces are of excellent quality made in Germany and are not fiberglass. You need to fit the Grille from the D3 A8/S8 to make it work. I chose the S8 platinum gray, but after ordering, I found out the gray filler trim piece is NLA from Audi. We are supposed to sport a front license plate, but I hate them so I don't. I reached out to Alex from Europrice for help and he was able to find the gray filler piece through Audi vintage/tradition parts in Germany. Can you hear the cash register ringing?
I'm a little nostalgic about modding it from the iconic original. :-( But, she'll just crash it up anyway...

16th Birthday gift

one year later (she doesn't drive it in winter)

The Transformation begins... yes the S8 badge on the grille goes away.
