    Spring install noise

Earlier today I was installing front springs and struts. Did passenger side first without issues. Later after getting the driver side done while lowering the car from that side heard a loud ping, like metal on metal hit. I though maybe something snapped, but everything looked fine when I jacked it back up. The car drives well without noise or any noticeable issues. There is no difference in ride heigh from left or right. Visually springs look ok. I installed new OEM links and they appear to be fine also. Any suggestions what else I should check? Thanks

Springs are 034 OEM+ which are a tab lower than my sport suspension.

probably just the end of the spring seating in the spring pocket.
