Hey all. Car is Audi A5 2013 Quattro S-Line

I installed this carplay unit recently. Here are all the parts the came in it,

After install all works fine except this controls on the radio panel are not working, i cannot work out why. My vcds cable arrives tomorrow and would it be something as simple as clearing codes?

Have you perhaps reached out already to the vendor\manufacturer of the unit? Or maybe pull things back apart and make 100% certain there are no bent pins or pins not fully seated and extending?

So you don't mean the actual MMI controls down around the shifter, but the multi-function buttons (which have nothing to do with MMI) that sit below the MMI 3G control module (the thing that says Audi multimedia)?

I assume you just didn't reconnect them. There's an 8-pin plug on the back of each. The wiring would have no cross with anything you would have done for the carplay retrofit. Maybe you unplugged them and put them back reversed?

Thanks so much, I must've missed it whilst reconnecting everything. Both were not connected, all is perfect now!
