Hello, will the DTM (JHM) catback fit the standard S4 model? What is the difference? Thanks.

Isn’t that an answer that JHM would be able to give? They do have a model specific search function. That being said, they sell Fast Intentions cat backs…so you can cross the manufacturer’s site also.

I bought a Fast Intentions resonated 2.5” cat back for my 06 S4 Avant…it’s literally a piece of art. Exact fittment, and sounds completely bad a$$

    From Kevin @JHM.
Our DTM exhaust system for the B7 S4 utilizing an entirely different exhaust tip and the system is built shorter than a standard B7 S4 exhaust system due to the unique DTM bumper.

The non-DTM B7 S4 exhaust has the two-pair tips, whereas the DTM B7 S4 exhaust has the two-single 4" diameter tips.

The DTM bumper kit came with exhaust tip cutouts for the two singles (similar to the B6 S4), so if you have the DTM bumper, you will want the DTM catback exhaust.

They're not really interchangeable because of the tips.

I have the JHM / FI exhaust, and it is fabulous. 100% recommended.
I'm still listening for that rattle!
If it rattles, it's because I baby it.

Thanks for the reply Zolli. A member offered me a great deal on a catback, downpipes and v2 headers. Unfortunately my car is non DTM. 😕

Nice! You can switch out the mufflers (early versions made by Sebring) and tips, if the deal is good enough.

Are you going to pass on the headers? I'd be interested! Though it's a bit confusing; no downpipes are needed if you have headers (they take the place of the downpipes) - you might ask for some clarification.

I did pass. They are in the classifieds section now. I misspoke. Initially I assumed the downpipes were required for that setup; which appealed to me as I'm not ready to pull the engine yet.
Then I realized the tips are different.
