Does the S6 uses the same exhaust manifold as RS6?

    Hello everybody,
I've finally decided to pull the trigger and bought myself RS6 turbos. However, they came without the exhaust manifold (the yellow part that mounts to the engine on one side and the downpipe on the other). I called the seller and he assured me that the S6 uses the same exhaust manifolds as the RS6. Is that true or do I need to source an RS6 exhaust manifold?

I'm pretty sure they do. Because you can buy rs6/rs7 turbos and bolt them onto s6 manifolds, so I don't see why it won't work.

You’re all set - same manifolds and hot side of the turbo.

Curious what your description of a “ yellow piece”..? But if we are talking manifold, you’re good

theyre the same, and to save yourself some effort you can separate the rs6 turbos from the manifold before you install and then just install the turbos onto your stock manifolds, itll cut the installation time down for you
