I am hoping there is anni formed person that can help me with a fitment question. I purchased a MAP sensor (part# 261230266) and it showed compatibility with my EA113.

Now I am doubting because many other websites do NOT show this as compatible with the EA113.

Anyone help? I have to pass an emissions in one week. Need help!!!!
I know what the main part # is that is a 100% compatible for EA113, but I want to know if this one will be ok to install.

Please don’t give guesses! I am looking for solid information.

    Thank you!

VW/Audi pt# 038906051D for the listing “manifold absolute pressure sensor”

Bosch pt# 261230266 for the listing “boost pressure sensor”

    I have a 2006 A3 2.0 TFSI EA113 6spd manual fwd 8P.

Are these two part numbers interchangeable???

Thank you in advance! I can’t find any more info

    Or rather…..

can I use a boost sensor to replace an old manifold absolute pressure sensor?

Ok! Great, thanks for the input.
    So to update:
I currently have a boost sensor installed, and I put ECU back to stock. Approx 12-13psi boost, and no idle problems after installing boost sensor.

so it SEEMS to be interchangeable..a MAP sensor and a boost sensor.

My guess is that the forum is more US persons based, and americans rather buy longer A4 than A3. Also those old models we have are no longer held by enough people to get activity here.
