Ride quality on H&R Sport Springs Q5

Looking for feedback from other B9 Q5 owners who’ve installed H&R Sport Springs. We want the look, but are we ruining the ride? And if ride is worse, how much worse is it?

I have them on my Q5 with the non-adaptive suspension. The ride is pretty good - slightly stiffer than stock, but still pretty comfortable. Some of the front coils are pretty close together, so I do notice some noise over bumps when they contact each other. I have some of the 034 spring sleeves on the way which will hopefully take care of the noise.

I wish they went a bit lower, but I don't plan on doing any other mods to the Q5, so this will be good enough to go with the stock wheels. Since you're planning on getting wheels too, I'll second the above recommendation for a HAS kit - it's much easier to get the look dialed in that way. Even if you need to delay the purchase of the wheels or springs, it'll be worth the extra wait. I had the ABT HAS on my B9 S4 and they were great!

We actually purchased the same wheels you have. We found a set of new OEM take offs on eBay.

Yes, no matter the car, every single review I’ve ever read of their Super Sport springs has said they are miserable on the street.

Got the Q5 back yesterday and ride is certainly no worse compared to stock and may actually be a bit better. Handling is certainly better. Got 1.75” drop. Hoping it doesn’t settle further. Will get some pics this weekend and post.
