I’ve had this problem with my audi b8 where it sounds like it’s cammed when it’s not. Any idea on what it is?

When you say "cammed" what is the issue(s) you're having?
Lumpy idle? Hesitation on throttle input? Engine rattle?
Have you scanned with a VAG-COM / VCDS to see what, if any, present fault codes there are?

i imagine lumpy idle. so i would think its misfiring or over advanced.
OP is the MIL on ?
