Anyone have any routes to go for the mechatronic repair? Dealer wants $6000+ for the mechatronic.

As far as I remember one company in the UK does that, price 600-700 British pounds

But you'd still need dealer/shop labor work to program the swapped mechatronic, including adapting it to the immobilizer.
