    Drove a manual trans 3.2 A5

I've always liked the original A5 design and thought it could be a potential replacement for my creampuff stock manual S4 someday. This week a low mileage 2009 6spd with the V6 was listed by a local dealer for $15k so naturally I had to go drive it. The 3.2L is one smooth motor but overall the A5 (despite being a generation newer) was not some huge upgrade from my S4. Kind of a downgrade in fit and finish actually. I did not expect multiple rattles in a 70,000 mile Audi. The interior of the S4 is much more elegant and dead quiet. Overall I went in expecting the test drive to be the kiss of death for my B5, but instead gave me new appreciation for it.

thanks for posting this. i didn't realize that the V6 A5s were available with a manual. i've been thinking about the A5 a lot lately. this news is encouraging.
    Because S4 = Hooker
Both can be purchased for cheap, and after one night of reckless, risky fun, either can be found lifeless on the side of the road. Your family is disappointed and concerned once they find out you've picked one up. Not to mention you try to hide how much money you routinely give one from your significant other.
