Front Socket Jacking Pad fell out

Has anyone had their front socket jacking pad fall out? I was switching from my winter wheel setup to my summer wheel setup last night, put the jack down and the socket pad fell out on the drivers side. It must have broke somehow because I can not get it to stay in place. I did find a replacement online and ordered it this morning, but this seemed strange. I have owned a couple of Audi's and this is the first time this has happened.

Just shoe-goo it back in, been fine for 5 years for me, don't waste money buying new one, assuming it fell out in your garage...

Unless the issue why it fell out in the first place, would hinder a new one from also staying in place?

Mine just fell out from my brake job and its because the plastic was damaged. I’m considering getting it scanned and making some sort of piece to go between it and a jack to avoid damage next time
