    B7 RS4 Build Recommendations

A buddy of mine recently bought a B7 RS4 with a blown motor, along with a used engine with 100k miles on it. He wants to build it as a decently reliable street car with a supercharger kit, so I wanted to create a thread to recommend any parts/mods/maintenance that need to be looked out for and attended to. I know there’s carbon buildup issues on these engines, and DRC issues too but that’s about the extent of my knowledge.

    Thanks

First get the engine in and running well. Perform all the basic maintenance and then start with fueling wear items if you're planning to charge it. Injectors, high/low fuel pressure sensors, HPFP's (or at least new solenoids), FPRV's if the charger he chooses doesn't come with them, fuel filter, coils, plugs, etc etc.
