Please bear with my ignorance.. Does it subtract 2.5-3% of fuel at idle, but adds 11-13% under load? Why would it smell like rich when I drive? Late list night I was so puzzled, could not sleep, so took MAF housing out and throughly washed Hitachi sensor using almost entire can of MAF cleaner. Sensor itself relatively new, maybe 15K on it. Today car drives bit smoother, and I think rich smell is not as bad, but still there. Drove it hard today and made about 22.5 psi of boost. Will drive more tomorrow and Sunday, and will check trims Sunday afternoon again. Any other diagnostic tips or possible fix suggestions? I had this tune for about 4 years from Solo Motorsports in GA.

Replaced coolant sensor plugs, same Bosch F5DP0R, ignition coils and MAP (not MAF) sensor late last year. MAP different part number, but supposedly same specs. I think cleaning MAF made a difference, want to drive more, will check trims again tonight. I have large cone intake with synthetic media, and in automatic car wash soapy water spray may sneaked onto it through the air filter. Will make sure to stop the engine in the wash, have bad habit running it.

Checked my trims after week of driving, car feels great power delivery is like supposed to be on healthy stage 3, but it stinks, so still running rich, no visible smoke
trims back to pretty much original numbers, MAF cleaning did not make much difference:

new error, never saw this before, any ideas?

Does anyone know if Josh Fonz still in this business, and how to contact him? Called Solo Motorsports in Georgia, and they have no idea.

Could O2 sensor going bad be a contributing factor to exhaust smelling rich?:
Failing Oxygen Sensor: An oxygen sensor measures exactly how rich or lean the exhaust gases are when they leave the combustion chamber. The vehicle computer uses this data to adjust the amount of fuel entering the engine. If the sensor is dirty or failing it can send incorrect measurements. If the exhaust coming from the tailpipe smells like gasoline, the vehicle computer is sending too much gas into the fuel injectors and it is not burning it all off.

after tightening clamps on charge pipes and replacing oil cap, numbers are better, and car feels slightly different:

should I still look for more issues, or assume under 10% is normal for stage 3?

I think he P1610 code is just because the ECU lost power. More info at https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...-18010-(P1602) etc... If the ECU has power and you clear the code, then it should not return.

Thank you for confirming, after I cleared 18010 (P1602), it never returned. Good to know.
