Knocking noise when taking off the accelerator pedal.

    Hello

What may cause a knocking noise when taking the foot off the accelerator pedal (front, right side)?

The knocking noise is audible only when driving. Braking does not help.

Could it be an engine mount?

Engine mount, tie rod, wheel bearing etc. Engine mount most likely by your description. Get under it, and check the condition of the mount. Look for leaking fluid, or other damage. Take the wheel off, and check the condition of the bushings. Even if you don't find it right away, ruling out critical components is nice to know. Best wishes...
