    B9.5 RS5 Rocker Panels on a B9 S5?

    Anyone know if the the rocker panels from a 2020+ B9.5 RS5 will fit on a 2018 B9 S5?

I’ve really come to hate my stock plastic rocker panels on my ‘18 S5 and the material doesn’t lend itself to vinyl wrap. I really like the look of the RS5 ones on the newer cars. Since the refresh was minor, I’m wondering if they will fit.

And to those who will say don’t put RS5 parts on an S5….I really don’t care.

I would not expect them to fit.

Based on just comparing the '23 Models via audiusa.com you can see the differences between the S5 and RS5. The RS5 is wider, thus the body lines where the rockers meet up with the front fenders and the rear corners of the rear doors would not line up on an S5. Its fairly easy to see just switching between 2 tabs in your browser.

That said, I'm not an expert on either car and I am only going by what I see online when comparing the '23 models.

From what I understand they will fit if you can get your hands on a set. I was looking at going the route of picking up something like the set in the link below. And who cares if you use parts from another model as long as you don't badge it incorrectly.
