I have searched extensively regarding coding out the mag ride for the MK2 TT RS as permanent solution versus using the DCC delete kits which fail eventually.

So far I have been able to erase the suspension light and restore ESP functionality but still working on the AFS errors. If anyone had luck with this part please do share.

The AFS errors are far more annoying than the magnetic ride light but I needed to code them out for WOT launching.

After reviewing different forums I figured I would post this here. It seems the only person to perfectly code this had an R8 but passed away unfortunately before sharing the exact steps. As follows here is what working for me using OBD 11

STEP1: remove the fuse 9 from the fuse BOX drivers side.

STEP 2: Control unit 14 CAN GATEWAY-INSTALATION LIST- un-click mag ride.

STEP3: Control unit 17 INSTRUMENTS CLUSTER-CODING-change the value according to the bubble and equipment.Character 4(Value 64 = Magnetic Ride chassis).remove 64 from the coding. My original old value was 0117288 new value is 0053208.

STEP 4: Control Unit 44 Headlight range control change coding to 0000024 for Audi TTS with steel springs. (This is what caused my AFS headlight errors that I have not resolved yet, might need adaptation or remove another fuse.)

STEP 5: Control unit 3 ABS module deducted 8192 which changed old value 0618391 to new value 0610199

Hope this helps someone else, and we can get accurate tutorial going on here. Cheers!

Posting here for reference. Just trying to figure out exactly how to get my headlights xenon only and the correct fuses to pull.

    Steps to code out AFS

Things you will need: A fuse puller and a VCDS or OBDEleven.

Turn off your car. (make sure everything is off, you may pull the wrong fuse and cause more errors. BE WARNED)
Open the driver side fuse panel between the door and the dashboard.

    Remove HEADLIGHT fuses.

Turn on the ignition and leave your engine off, now using your VCDS

Go into the Central Electronics 09 and code it for Xenon Only Should be currently a 3, change it to a 2, should be like this (0xx2xxx)

Go into Instruments 17 and remove the AFS by subtracting 64 from the first 4 digits I changed (2129XXX) to (2065XXXX)

Go into CAN Gateway 19 and remove 55 Headlight range. This can be done in coding or installation list

Now turn off your vehicle and pull Instrument Cluster (10A) fuse wait a couple seconds and reinsert it.

Turn on your car, the error should now be gone and the ECU will no longer think AFS system is installed.
