Daughter borrowed my S4 2005 w the basic radio no Sat or Nav; original OEM set up, now there is no sound; perhaps a blown fuse.

Hoping to not have to add an after market radio due to aesthetics but having Bluetooth might be worth the Frankenstein.

I'd check the fuse on the back of the unit, and in the fuse box first.

Does the radio work? I am guessing this vehicle has Bose sound system in it? If so it should have a separate amp somewhere in the trunk. As much as I hate to say it it was a common failure in these vehicles. But of course check the basics. Fuse at the radio and on the side of the dash. Unless the radio comes on then we know its not a fuse issue but most likely a amplifier issue.
