    Hello fellow audi lovers,

So i bought my first car about a month ago. I wanted to have summer tires on seperate rims so i will be able to change them by myself whenever i want, plus i would come through cheaper than driving twice a year to mechanic for tire change. So i bought 18 inch rims with summer tires size 245/45/18 already mounted. at first i thought that was standard A4 size until i saw its245/40/18 standard size. Now i am worried that they will rub. i also have S-line suspension so its little lower than basic one.

They will fit. S-Line suspension is just a tiny bit lower than the regular suspension. Your speedometer will be a little off with the higher profile tires though...

Oh really, i hope so. I know about speedometer yeah, at 60mph i will be off by 2.3mph so i will need to keep that in mind but that is not problem. As long as it wont rub or cause any problem in handling the car.

If you mean actual 1BV suspension code, the suspension is 30mm lower than 1BA standard suspension, but only 10mm lower than 1BE sport suspension. But the suspension code won't really matter I would expect. The wheel bearing housing is the exact same for all codes. So the distance from the center of the wheel hub to the bend at the top of the wheel bearing housing is always the same.
