    Hey all,
Anyone have a link to replace the shift boot? I found a ton about shift knobs, but need to remove and replace the boot as well. Any link would be apreciated! Thanks!

You really just grab the trim ring around the base of the boot and pull it up. It should snap right out. The knob is held on by a metal clip that will need to be cut off (if it's still OEM), but you can replace it with a small hose clamp to reinstall it.

Or if you want to watch someone do it, just search YouTube for JHM B8 Shifter installation video.

I replaced my whole shift knob and boot with a shifter that was originally meant for an 04-08 A3/S3. I picked it because it was the perfect color and design scheme for the theme I was going for (red ring, red boot stitching).

I just removed the plastic piece that locks my stock shift boot into place and replaced the piece that was meant for the S3. Also used a small hose clamp to tighten the knob onto the shift lever.

Oh, and I also opened up the shift knob and put BBs in it to add weight to the shift knob.
