    Am I the only one with a 2023 RS3 that doesn't have the automatic light sequencing when the car is unlocked? I've had the car for 5 months, and never really thought about it, but figured I'd finally check it out and my turn signals just double-flash like most cars. Not a big deal but just curious.

    Have you tried doing it at night? I was trying to show someone and it wasn't doing it at all, at least until it got darker.

    I can see it anytime of day it's very visible. I heard they had to adjust some things here and there due to parts availability

    I was seeing the headlights do it any time of day, but my tails were only doing it when it was dark enough or once it was parked inside.

    I tried it in a closed dark garage, no difference, front or rear. I was guessing it might be a parts supply issue. Good points all.

    Mine doesn't do the RS3 sequence.

    I have a base 2023 RS3 with only the sport exhaust and it does have the animation. I do have the wierd brake pedal clicking during cold weather and a one off green stitched interior with no green on the dash. Pandemic cars…

    That's really odd, my 2023 does it the only package I have is tech. I don't think this is tied to any package though

    2023 her with Tech and mine does it. But to do the full headlight/taillight dance, it does need to be dark where the auto headlights are going to come on.

    Have you guys tried checking your exterior light settings in the MMI? I believe there's a flag or two in there to set.

    I've checked the MMI info, and haven't seen anything on that, but I can check again to be sure. Reading too much bout the MMI (which works great I think), makes my eyes glaze over so I certainly could have missed it.

    mine only does it if its locked and then I unlock it. I can push the unlock multiple times and only the first time it unlocks from locked position will the sequence happens. I can make it happen on demand by locking and letting it do its thing then unlocking it.

    I have the Tech Package as well and mine doesn't work - I don't think the function is actually tied to any option package at this point. Seems to be rare, but some cars just don't have it.
