Any body using the SRM upgraded exhaust manifold with their hybrid turbo setup?

Hey there, I have their GTX3582R turbo with the manifold sitting on a shelf. When I build the engine and trans (hopefully this winter) the plan is to go with that on the car.

There are quite a few members that use this manifold. It makes decent power according to my tuner Darin. Its actually not considered a hybrid according to SRM as they have a separate hybrid option.

SRM manifold is not a hybrid because it doesn't use the OEM CHRA.

I'm not sure why one would buy the manifold alone... it should be paired with thier GTX35 or Xona CHRA offerings so you'll get the wastegate actuator, boost controller, oil and coolants lines.

I was told by a couple of shops that those manifolds are prone to cracking and that I should avoid it. Take that for what it's worth, however.

Hopefully this can be validated by someone that actually had this happen to them. Otherwise, it looks like a quality piece.

For sure. I would like to hear from someone with firsthand experience, too. But virtually no one purchases turbo stuff from SRM anymore.
