    Just picked up a B9 RS5

Been debating between an RS3 and an RS5 for a couple years, then got on a waitlist for a GR Corolla when it got announced. I went to go and test drive a normal corolla for comparison and this RS5, and I knew I just had to have an RS5.

Have been driving it for about a week so far and loving every second of it.

    So far it has:
    H&R coilovers
    VS forged VS06 with 285/30r20's
    Milltek exhaust
    Urus CF paddles

I am planning to drive it in Colorado year round except for deep snow days so looking at possible winter setups for next year.

Congratulations...will you be doing a full write up on how the standard Corrolla compares to the RS5?

Thanks! I definitely like it, but may consider turning these into winter wheels and buying a new set(also would be black).

Thanks! Lol I don't even think the regular corolla deserves such a writeup. I just did it for comparison since I was 1st on a list to get a circuit edition GR but they aren't out yet. of course the GR would be slightly better materials but I assume not by much. The best way to put the interior feel would be corolla interior=legos, rs5 interior=fighter jet.

That is in fact the msrp for the Morizo Edition. They haven't marked it up (at least in the ad anyway).

Looks great. I’m kind of a fan of the blacked out look…

I think you missed the sarcasm here.

I didn't but I do think the GR corolla is actually worth the comparison imo.

A buddy of mine was looking at the mid-level GR Corolla, "Circuit Edition", which have not hit the dealer's lots yet, and I told him he'll need to work really hard to find one NOT with ADM.

I think I found the worst offender of ADM:

    $21k mark-up. Gee, I wonder why it's not sold yet... <sarcasm>.

I was actually 1st on a waitlist and had a deposit down since last year so as long as the dealership got one I would have got it with minimum ADM as well. For me the comparison was more about the interior size/quality for which I compared a normal corolla. There was no comparison which made me choose the RS5. I was also considering a 2023 RS3 but the 1.5 yr waitlist put me off.

They will most likely sell it eventually even with crazy adm. one dealer tried to offer me a core at 25k ADM. I told them no of course, but as I told them no another salesperson sold it. 63k+taxes and fees is what is sold for.

That 3 cylinder, manual transmission, 2 seater, Corolla would be a very different driving experience.
