    4" Turbo Inlet Install

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I bought a used 4" CTS turbo inlet and it didn't come with any bolts or vacuum hoses/connectors. Can i reuse the 2x factory Torx ones? For the PCV, i know I have to use a new one. Anybody know what type of bolt (size, thread) to get for it or the other ones if needed? Also, what size vacuum tubing/connector should i purchase to reattach to the wastegate. I've looked at several different vendor's install instructions and they are quite different. Looking for people with experience to see if i can get the best method to install this piece of hardware. Thanks!

Reuse the factory torx for the inlet. You can download the install guide for a Unitronic inlet and I believe they list the size of the bolt needed for the PCV hose, but when I did mine I also got a longer one just in case.

From what I remember you need to buy the unitronic wastegate line. Supposedly oem is too short. I'm doing my inlet soon also just whating on the WG line to arrive.

Thanks everyone. That Uni wastegate line is just a high temp silicone hose with a barbed connector which I can source on my own. What about the actual install itself? Those instructions are all over the place. Some say to remove coil packs, some don't. Looking for the simplest install without having to undo unnecessarily.

The only reason why you need the new wastegate line is because the short metal section of the oem line doesn't want to fit well over the larger turbo inlet. I ordered the Unitronic replacement line, but didn't use it to replace the entire length of wastegate line. Instead, I just cut the Unitronic line to size to replace just the metal section of of the oem line that goes over the turbo inlet, thereby being able leave the remainder of oem line in place. That is an easy way to do it.

Also, I think Uni says to loosen/remove the wastegate actuator to install the inlet, dont bother with that noise, it doesnt need to be.
