I know most people dont run 16 inch wheels but if you did would you get the 205s or 215s. Theres so much more options in the 205s bit I’m wondering if i will notice the skinnier tire
    On 16x7 btw
Also should have mentioned im taking about summer tires. Just want to know if i go with a 205 summer i wouldn’t wish I had a 215.

Either or. But, you can even run up to 225/50 on 16x7’s. This old Quattro v8 I bought had 16” b5 wheels with 225/50R16 tires on it. Looks pretty cool with the extra width

I run 16's for winter, so the narrower the better. 205's for me.

195/65/15 is probably the optimal size for raw winter traction on a B5, but I like to share wheels and tires amongst my [too many] cars. One of my B5's has A8 brakes, and my Volvo's brakes won't fit 15's either. So my minimum compatible size for everything is 205/55/16.
