New to the forum here. I am needing some help with my 07 S4 manual with the 4.2 V8. I purchased the car with a blown engine, and recently replace it with a good used BNK engine out of a 2005 Audi A6. The car will start up, but idles poorly and does not want to rev past 1500-2000RPM. Looks like the main issue keeping it from running correctly is that I am getting both camshaft sensor correlation codes. Come to find out - the different engines have different cams and camshaft adjusters - likely causing the codes. NOW - I am needing to figure out what I can do to fix this. Can I or someone reprogram or edit coding on my factory S4 ECU that is in the car now, can I use an ecu out of a different car......??? Need some ideas / help on what to try next! Thanks in advance!!
