has anyone replaced their valve body plate gaskets on the mechatronic unit, if so, once you remove the old gaskets off the valve body plate have you used any adhesive to re install the new gaskets or do they just sit on the plate like the old chevy and ford automatic transmissions, long story but I have to replace mine on my 2013 s6

bummer nobody answered. I replaced the gaskets in mine and was wondering the same thing. I ended up spraying the one side of each gasket with "copper gasket maker" from Advanced Auto. I think the adhesive is necessary to ensure the gasket is placed correctly. Torqeued all the valve body bolts to 10nm which was a random guess. Thoughts?
