Hi all, quick story about my A6. I removed the engine because I had a low compression from cylinder 1 due to broken valve spring. Replaced all springs and started putting everything back and followed the repair manual for all torque specs and when it was time to join the torque converter and flywheel I had marked everything before removal so I put everything back as it was and torqued all six screws to specs. After starting for the first time, everything went well but when it warms up then you can hear a whining coming from the torque converter hole and it's very annoying. When it's cold it doesn't happen but you can barely hear it but when it reaches 75f and up then it gets loud. I remember I torqued everything to specs especially the flywheel. I know I might have to remove the engine again but hopefully not and hope that someone been through this maybe because removing those catalytic converters is nightmare. Also, when installing the starter there was a rubber that gave me a hard time but did install it correctly hopefully because I don't think a rubber will cause such a noise. The issue didn’t happen before removing the engine and there is no sign of leaks around the transmission and it shifts very smoothly I just don't know what happened or what I did wrong.
