Trouble with Blower motor and MMI

    Hi guys!

I'm really sorry if there's already a thread about this subject, but I've tried to find it without any results.

A few weeks back I felt a slight smell of burnt plastic, and the morning after Irealized there wasn't any air blowing from my AC system.

I ordered a new blower motor and a resistor, which turned out to be wrong parts when I picked the car apart. Out of curiousity I tried the blower motor with a battery charger, and it did work. After putting everything back into placez two days went by and then it was dead again. I've ordered new spare parts. The transistor arrived earlier, and I installed that one, without any result, Once again I connected the blower motor I to the battery charger and ther it was spinning like it should. After I parked it and turned the car vack on again the motor was dead, again, this time my MMI all of a sudden was all dead aswell. I tried to check fuses, but couldn't find a broken one. As I waited for the new motor I just left the parts as they was, the motor was mounted, but the resistor wasn't. The morning after the MMI worked again, but not the motor. Next time I started the car the MMI was dead again, and it has been all weekend and still is. Today I got the blower motor which also worked for one single start of the car, then it died aswell

Would anyone know what the heck to do?
And does anyone know if the MMI is connected somehow?

Really hoping for hell, since I need but can't afford the workshop, because of everything is stupidly expensive, especially the electric biils.

    Best regards.

Do you have VCDS or such to assess the vehicle computational state? If not, you're trying to blow a pond up a hill with a straw.
OBDeleven would be a lower entry point for a useful tool, but to do any changes or maintenance operations you might want later will require the PRO subscription, which has become quite expensive. But reading data, reading codes, that's what you need to be able to do right now.

Do you have actual MMI? Unit in the dash above the climate controls says Audi multimedia, not Audi concert or Audi symphony?

This isn't the first time I've heard of something like this. J255 climate controls and J794 information electronics being flaky, but the only common point between them is the ground point. Maybe you have clogged A/C drain tubes and getting moisture and corrosion on the side tunnel?

Would be better to be able to interact with the control modules.
