Just trying to figure out, has anyone or does anyone know the limits on the factory bottom end of the 4.0t in the s6? I havent heard of anyone blowing motors up, just oil consumption.

    Thanks in advance.

There are people pushing over 8-900hp to the crank with no problems specifically to the bottom end. If you are worried about anything breaking, it would be your transmission; anything above stock hp levels. Axles too. Oil consumption is not caused by the internal engine components of the bottom end, rather the failure of the PCV.
