Update on the clicking noise on start up | AWE touring exhaust

AWE sent me new valve simulators and I had them installed a few days ago. The techs removed the old ones and showed me how much crap was covering them and more importantly where those "pins" are placed inside. They suspect that because of all the crud in the pin track that the pins were not able to move freely and not able to "simulate" the valves.

They installed the new ones and wrapped them in hopes of keeping the debris out. Too bad that AWE doesn't ship these enclosed in something. For us up here in Canada the roads are covered in crap like 9 months year.

YES, the clicking was horrible. I don't know why they had to CNC these heavy bypass simulators when you could just include some bypass plugs instead. Now do I just trash the simulators? The plugs work great, no codes at all and still breaking in the exhaust.

The black casings are the actual motorized actuators mounted to the brackets. Once you put the plug in the harness, you can take the mounting bracket and actuators out completely. I didn't need to but I still put the plug in the actuators, I'm just going to trash them anyways.
