    P2004 & 2005 = Carbon Cleaning?

    Had the CEL come on around hour 7 of an 8 hour drive. Pulled over to reset it, but it can't on again soon thereafter. The report from OBD is below. Could this be the control module, a need for carbon cleaning, ?????

    Also, as far as I know a carbon cleaning has never been done.... And the CEL is back on

    If it were carbon it would be extremely unlikely that both sides stick at exact same time. It’s possible though.

    I’d check the vacuum lines running to the intake manifold runners first as wells as the connector and harnesses, put a mity Vac on the line from the solenoid and check to see if they hold vacuum. Might be easier to just take off the SC and check everything underneath or behind the SC.
