    Hey,
Has anybody bought one of those rubber floor jack adapters that fits into the side plastic pieces under the car? Was your experience good? Or do you just send it raw?

I only raise the car using the hand jack from the trunk high enough to slide in the 3-ton floor jack at the sub-frame just behind the edge of the belly pan. After it is fully raised, I place both jack stands under the curved join bracket, shown as #3 in this diagram:

Jack stands for the back are at the opposite end of the 2 track bars, shown as #1 and #2 in this diagram, with 2 piece of 5/8 inch wood planks:

I have a convertible, but the coupe should have similar spots. I have seen folks cut 4 pieces of steel pipe that wedge into the 4 jack points/slots then put the jack stands under them -- which may run the risk of the car siding forward or back on the pipe pieces.

Use what Matt Devo suggested... I had a set of rubber and metal pucks with the rounded half circle in the middle.
