Tires for 2023 Audi RS 3

I am looking for 200 TW tires for autocross and was wondering if anyone has tried a 275/30/19 on the front. I want to make sure there would be no issues or rubbing at all. There doesn't appear to be any stock sized tires in the 200 tread wear category for the front. Are there any issues running 275/30/19 on the front and 245/35/19 on the rear? it is for a 8Y 2023 Audi RS 3 which has the stock wheels 9" on the front and 8" on the back.
    Thanks,
    Jon

I went to 18s for track tires because of this. I think you would be raising the front quite a bit if you went to a 275. You would also be more oversteer prone with a bigger difference between the front and rear. Unfortunately the best solution is to move to 18s, unless you want to spend money on cup 2s (I'm not even sure those are available TBH).

Technically, a 275/30 needs a 9.5" wheel width. The stock wheel is 9"

Does that really matter in the real world? Not really. The 275/30 is only about 1/4" taller than 265/30.

End of the day, you can do this without any real issue. It actually matches the heights better front to rear also.

I was thinking the height and cicumferance was the same so that won't work. What wheels, size, and offset did you use? I would have so stay with the stock width of 9" and 8".

275/35R18 and 245/40R18. Depending on which class you're in will probably dictate what wheel offsets you can use.

the 18x9 has to be 23-27 offset and the rear 18x8 has to be 44-48 offset.

The aspect ratio is a percentage of the width, so if you go 10mm you have to drop the aspect ratio by about 5%.

I went with a square 18x9 setup. Though I believe 18 staggered would be closer to stock with 265x35 front and 245x40 rear tires.

For a factory setup yes. But the OP had mentioned he was interested in 275’s up front. Additionally the 35 series tire is approved down to a 9” wheel unlike the 30 series.

On my older 2019 RS 3, I am running 18x8.5 Neuspeed RSe10 wheels fitted with
245/40/18 Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ as shown in my Photo Gallery as we
run country back roads 3 days a week as weather permits.

Mileage is now at 44,775 of which 32,238 have been fast country back road runs
10am-2pm Mon., Tues. and Weds only as traffic is pretty much non-existant at
these days & times. Same size Michelin All Season 4 tires going on soon, as the
AS3+ are very near minimum tread depth of 2.5 mm which is when I replace them.
Been running country back roads since 1958 when I got my drivers license in Tucson,
with its wonderful many country back roads.

And our 2019 Audi RS 3 is certainly a VERY FAST road runner indeed!

Mileage updated 3/25/23 to show current mileage as of 3/25/23
