Question Need Help Identifying parts _ Audi Q5 3.2l FSI

    Hey guys,
My Audi Q5 is different than all the videos I watched online. Its lower intake runners have no flaps, I do not have seperator plate above the intake valve. There are some connectors above the valve body which others do not have.
    Anyways,
Since I have removed so much, I am thinking to replace Oil filter housing gasket.
I watched a video where the guy had to remove bracket to access 10 mm bolt but I can reach that without problem. I cannot access the 8 mm triple square bolts on the oil filter housing as some hoses are in way. If I remove this part I can have some slack but I am not sure what is that.

Please help me identify the part. Is it safe to remove?

You buy this Q5 new yourself? The CALB in all US B8.0 Q5 is the same engine. The intake manifold flaps being eliminated is a normal thing on CAL engines, "Due to the charge motion produced by partial lift, it was possible to dispense with the intake manifold flaps." So you shouldn't be seeing them on any CAL engine (CALA for A4/A5, CALB for Q5). As there are no intake manifold load flaps, no point in divider plates on the cylinder head intake valve channels.

You are working with the actual Audi workshop manuals, yes? Not just random guessing at "this bolt looks good to remove". erwin.audiusa.com, pay for a day (still $35?), get all the PDFs for your VIN. You're probably looking at older EA837 3.2L engine variations; you have a CALB, stick to info specific to the CAL engine.

The object is part of the PCV. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...cv/06e103547p/
