Cool New (to me) 2020 RS3' celebratory post

Coming up on about 5 months with her now, thought I would share some photo joy of my latest midlife crisis:

2020 RS3 Nardo Edition, 21k, all i've done is smoke the windows and square off a set of Michelin PS4 all-weathers.
Needless to say, I'm having way too much fun with this thing, but I stopped driving it to work (62 mi round trip) to try and keep the odometer in check. Can you imagine how painful it is to walk past this thing and get in a Kia Sportage?

Haha they say if you don’t look back at your car after parking, you’re driving the wrong car. Pictures didn’t load for me OP but my imaginations good enough. Get an APR stage 1 tune, it’s like getting a new car

Welcome! Buying an rs3 and not driving it to save the miles is sad, send it man, life is to short to drive a Kia, something breaks, upgrade it and like above throw a stage 1 tune on that thing and let her fly
Stage 1 more than you RS3

Yeah a tune is coming, with two caveats - I can't decide APR, Uni, or IE... and I worry the dealer is going to try and finagle out of warranty claims if I flash it. I know APR has a program that mirrors warranty, but I don't think it covers the extended period.

I fully agree, soon to be 83 years old, I've been driving since I was 17 and had my first automobile and license. Now with a 2019 RS 3 that has 43,579 miles on it, of which 31,377 miles have been very fast
country back road runs made 10am-2pm 3 days a week as weather permits, has certainly kept me in
good physical condition, compared to guys my age that I know, who have maybe driven their GARAGE
QUEEN 75 miles this year so far!

Putting yourself and your automobile in action as much as possible will keep you IN ACTION, versus stareing at the TUBE the rest of your remaining days!

If you are worried about a warranty then do not flash it period. That being said these cars are very robust and can tolerate tunes very well, get a tune that supports your future goals, DS1 is what i run, APR was good, Uni was so-so, stay away from IE.

o1turbo30v - I greatly appreciate the advice, I have heard good things about DS1, especially from a mapping perspective; and I actually ordered an IE tune a few months back, then cancelled my order before it shipped (They charged me 10% restocking fee anyways) APR/Uni were the frontrunners in the long term plan, and i've got another 24k of warranty; but honestly I may not be able to hold off that long! LMAO

You had mentioned a tuner in Montco in a prior post if memory serves me right - would you mind reminding me, what was the facility again?

Yesterday my 17 y/o son sent me a link for replacement headrests that double as disguised pistol safes. Like I needed help to find yet another way to spend MORE money. Wife does not approve. #hoorayfordigitalcreditcardstatements lol!

RT Tuning in Montgomeryville, PA. They sell both APR and UNI but will try to talk you into UNI since its more expensive and UNI forces you into a TCU tune as well, more $$$$ for them. Both DS1 and APR do not require TCU tunes on the stock turbo, if you want a TCU tune, TVS Engineering is the tune you want. Cheers
