    Roll bar for track use

I'm looking for a roll bar/half cage for track use. I know Studio RSR makes a half cage but it's pricey. Curious what you guys are running in your cars. Thanks!

Have you looked in your area for a fabrication shop? Looks like there are a few in NJ. I would think a roll bar with a cross beam and points for a harness would be around 1200-1500.

Unless you wear a helmet all the time, steel tubes in your car are more likely to end your life than save it. Further, a 1/2 cage is basically only helpful in a rollover which is super uncommon, and modern cars are much better in rollover protection than even 20 years ago. If you think you need a cage, I'd either 1. Re-evaluate your driving skill and suitability of a street car on the track and 2. consider buying a cheap dedicated track car with a full cage. Will be much cheaper to run and much better than nearly any street car.
