The sensors and plugs are the same. Only difference is the length of the wire.

    FWIW-
The Bosch 16287 has an approx 2-1/2 FT line length and is for both B1 and B2 front sensors and YES they are BLACK(male and female)
The BOSCH 16073 has a MUCH longer line length suitable for the rear locations. The female connectors for the rear sensors are BROWN and GREEN
The BROWN connector is for the left side(driver) rear sensor and the GREEN is for the right side---be advised that the male plug for the BROWN connector will need to be slightly modified--It's evident when you try to assemble...a few seconds with a Dremel tool an it will fit---I used a 1/4"OD drum sander.
When I was STAGE-II I still had all 4 O2 sensors in place and had to replace a defective rear sensor back in 2018 and changed them both....

    Side question:
Wondering if anyone else has experienced that bosch replacement 02's don't seem to last nearly as long as the originals that came with the vehicle?

Downstream Bosch wide-bands too, I've had some die very prematurely.

My wideband O2 took a shit in 15k miles. I was chasing what I thought was a rich issue for weeks. It started to read rich at the same time I swapped injectors. I assumed there was a relation and was jumping through hoops trying to figure it out. I was seeing 9.X:1 at WOT, but there was no black smoke, or breaking up, or fouling plugs. Swapped the sensor and saw ~11.8:1.

I've had issues with both---3-year old B1S1(some 9,000 miles of use) an a wide band(LSU 4.9) over the same period....
Damn vendor quality.... Don't know who to trust anymore....

My wideband is reading 8.8:1 while cruising at 70mph lol…it reads correctly for maybe 2 minutes from a cold start. I got 20k miles from it, but pure pump gas as you know. I’ve just been busy with other stuff on the car that I haven’t gotten around to changing the sensor. I don’t even have the wideband screen up 90% of the

For the front sensors (I don’t use rears), I went with genuine ones - they are now in the car for 48k miles and work perfectly fine. Expensive, but I prefer doing something once and moving on.

To add, it read right at stoich. during cruise. Only under high load did it read incorrectly.

On the subject of aftermarket widebands lifespan I’ve notice it has a lot to do with the controller. When I had an AEM I’d have to replace sensors every year or 2 but with the Zeitronix ZT2s I’ve had great luck with. Sensor I’m running now is atleast 6yrs old/50k and been through 3 cars. Lol.

For OE O2s I just buy them from FCP and replace anytime I have engine or downpipes off under warranty.

Ive been on the same AEM wideband for 15 years.. I changed it to rule it out and it was actually fine.

It’s combination of things. The controller is one, but there are fifty-eleven different sensors people use, all of which fall under wideband and “bosch”.

I don’t have any E85 experience only race gas and pump gas. I had one of the original Horiba widebands, before these things even became offered on the common market (this thing was ~$2500 in 1997-1998), and it went 20 years, using mainly race gas and avgas, before the sensor needed replacement !
