I was able to grab a mint set off eBay UK for $160 shipped to me here in the Arizona.
Initially the seller didn’t want to ship to the us. But eBay has a service where they handle everything. Once I told him about that he updated the listed and it was super easy

You could always run the 034 ones for half the price.

Two of them tore on me, and I wasn’t the only one. It’s sad to say, but much of their stuff is just low rent.

They tore on you? I presume you mean at the joint where the DV hose meets the main hose, is that right? I only ask because I am honestly kind of shocked by this. In my experience, even the cheapest, lousiest ebay silicone hoses are several times more durable than anything Audi ever used. I suppose I could see a leak or tear developing at that joint if they were made very poorly though..

FWIW, if you're willing to consider non-OEM options, I sourced a pair of silicone lobster claws from Doug, at FrankenTurbo. They are a very snug fit on an RS4 pipe but they do go on, and they provide the clean look, free of any brands or logos, that I so desperately wanted. My pair have been great, and I have not heard of any of the Frankenturbo ones failing (although, until now I had never heard of any silicone hose of any sort failing on these cars, so perhaps ymmv).

That’s exactly where they tore. I went back to genuine, which were a much better fit, and zero issues since. The eBay ones similarly fit like junk. I bought a couple sets to have in a pinch. In the end, I rebought genuine ones in case the need ever arise. Now moving to a new set with my new y pipe. I have found things work for some and not others, because of sheer use. I probably put 25k miles a year on my S4. The others car sit for ages at a time, and this gets used. Other people use their cars a handful of times a year. I’m sure that has a lot to do with it
