My rear door speakers aren’t working. I am thinking they may be unplugged somewhere. Does anyone have any ideas or maybe a diagram so I can trace? Thanks

My rear door speakers (B&O) went out not too long ago. I thought it was similar hoping for a wire and worst case the amp. It was the actual speakers which just gave out on both sides. It was weird. I would just try getting new speakers and try them first.

Are all four speakers no longer working? Or just the woofers are no longer working? The tweeter and the woofer in rear doors are joined together, so if neither are working, you might look back to the wiring to the door or the amp. If just the woofer is not working, then you probably blew the woofers out.

Easy route is remove the door panel and then remove the woofer. Measure the resistance across the woofer terminals, should be somewhere around 4Ω. If it's an open circuit, then the woofer is toast, replace it. If the resistance seems fine, then measure the AC voltage across the harness plug pins while the system is playing something. Make sure the DSP is set to All (not Front or Driver) and maybe even run the fader rearward. If you read a voltage, the amp is sending a signal and the wiring is getting it there. If you're not reading a voltage, then it might be your meter or it might be the amp or the wiring. Make sure the meter is capable is reading AC beyond just 50-60Hz. My meter for example specifies AC frequency range of 50-400Hz. That's enough to pick up the midrange audio that should be going to the woofer.

The pinout for the 32-pin plug on the B&O amp has been posted before. Check the B8 A4 forum.
