What do you do with your OEM parts after replacement?

Random question, but what do folks here do with the OEM parts you've replaced with aftermarket additions? I have a B9 A4, as well as an B9 S4 rear valance, stock springs for both, and an A4 OEM grille and have no idea what to do with them. Things are starting to pile up but I feel bad just taking them to the "take it or leave it shed" or the dump, and it seems there's not a great market for used OEM parts (can't blame anyone)...any suggestions?

Some people try and sell them to others who have thrown their OEM parts away, and are returning the vehicle to stock, upon lease expiration or something like that, but the demand is not that high. Might be sitting on it for a year after you list them

I have a storage container specifically for car parts.

I honestly think at this rate I could lump together a second S4 just from all the parts I have in there.

I have a shelf in a basement closet and a spot in the garage attic that I store the stock parts. I'll put everything back to stock prior to selling / trading the car for something else.

I bag them and keep them on a shelf. When it comes time to sell your car it is always worth more in stock condition than modified. So I always keep the original parts so I can return the car to stock when the time comes. The aftermarket parts get sold as used as well.

So hearing that the consensus is to hold on to the S4 parts for the option to return to stock before sale, and to part with the OEM parts for the A4 which was sold over a year ago either by sale or otherwise.

Guess it's time to install some basement shelving!

I store mine in the garage attic in boxes. Opportunity to return to stock and sell off the mods or if the car gets sold modified then stock parts can be re-sold.
