IS RS3 FUEL PUMP PLUG AND PLAY ON 2016 S3?

I need to change pump out for more volume for larger turbo. Is the RS3 pump (in tank unit) plug and play or do I need some retrofit kit like A2B sells wi their kit?

Also will it run fine on the existing software the car has before I go in for a custom file (tune)?

    TIA

It is not plug and play from my understanding. That being said there is a gentleman, StorableComa, on the GolfM7 forum that has put together his own kit with harness and OEM plugs etc that is a lot cheaper, I think IIRC he can have you setup with an RS3 pump, harness, and all the fixens for 500. Don't quote me on that though, message him if you're interested. Beyond that you would need a custom tune. The pumps in our car, from what I am told do not have a low pressure side sensor, and so adding a higher volume pump could overwhelm your system with too much fuel. It's also likely to really get the advantage of an RS3 pump you would want to go MPI, otherwise it would be a waste.

This is what I used when I went hybrid on my S3. You will need tuning prior to accommodate the larger fuel pump.
