Replace tire valve stem only w/o replacing TPMS sensor?

I have two bad tire valve stems that need replacing. Can I just replace the complete bad valve stems without replacing the TPMS sensor? I'm pretty sure the answer is, yes, since the valve stems are available individually apart from the TPMS sensor, but wanted to be sure. Thanks!

So long as the problem isn't in the valve threads, I don't see why not.
The stem is just a check valve at the end of the day.

Now, if you're talking the valve itself, that's a different story l (and that I've never tried).

Thanks Oltean. I should've been more specific-- I mean replace this whole piece: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-huf-part...146792829~huf/

I ended up having to "saw/shave" off my metal valve stem caps because they were seized onto the stem. Very troublesome now to put air into the two front tires. The sensors work fine so I was thinking to just replace the entire valve stem piece that attaches to the sensors vs. buying two full TPMS kits. Hope that makes sense..

    Ah okay, understood.

Based on this (https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...pp907275f~oem/) it would seem like you can.

Obviously be prepared that if you do try, you may break the existing sensor trying to separate them.
The plastics get brittle after that many years, and you take your chances.

Best of luck if you decide to go this way, let us know how it goes.

Ah, yes, thanks for the heads up on the potential brittle plastic of the TPMS sensors - didn't think of that. I figure ~$20 for the two valve stems is worth the risk. If it fails, I'll have to fork out for two new OEM Huf sensor kits.
