    Steering ratios

I'm considering replacing the steering rack in my B6 with one from a A4 B7 as the ratio is much quicker. I know this because I drive a b7 for a winter rat. What I don't know is where the S models fall. I assume they are even quicker ratio than the base model B7 but I can't seem to find any concrete info. I feel like I remember seeing a chart once floating around the forums. Appreciate any help.

I dug up some old threads most notably Kevin C's

    https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...th-Servotronic

I guess If I'm going to go through the work I might as well use an S4 rack. They're a little more affordable than I anticipated TBH after looking around.

I checked steering turn lock to lock on Rock Auto and I did not see a difference listed on the B6 vs B7 A4. The listing might be wrong or it confirms what I assumed. Regardless I have been happy with the S4 swap and despite that some others don't like it, adding servotronic. All in all one of my favorite mods. I also found that stiffer subframe bushings improved steering feel / response on the highway. The S4 rack and the bushings is a nice combo, not that either on their own is bad.

Did you install S4 subframe bushing or solid aluminum?

Sport suspension bushings / S4 bushings. My understanding is they are the same PN. Either way mine had the sport suspension subframe but not the bushings. Happy with the stiffer rubber bushings, but i have never tried solids.
